About Us

Developing leaders to energize the future of nuclear

North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) is a 501(C)(6) non-profit organization which provides opportunities for a young generation of nuclear enthusiasts to develop leadership and professional skills, create life-long connections, engage and inform the public, and inspire today’s nuclear technology professionals to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

NAYGN was established in 1999, and now consists of 150+ Chapters across North America.

What We Do

NAYGN offers a variety of opportunities for our members, including the following:

Professional Development

Providing a forum for the professional development of our membership

Public Information

Informing and engaging the public about nuclear science and technology

Networking

Fostering closer professional and personal relations among our members

Knowledge Transfer

Contributing to the exchange of information among generations of nuclear professionals

Board of Directors

Our organization is run by a volunteer led Board of Directors.

Every year, a new Board is elected by our membership to continue fostering growth and providing new opportunities for leadership.
