NAYGN is proud to announce our first stand-alone conference starting Wednesday, June 21, 2023, and concluding Friday, June 23, 2023, in beautiful Minneapolis, MN at the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot. This conference is for young professionals in the nuclear industry that are eager to engage in professional development, soft skills training, technical discussions, and networking with industry executives.

Attendees will have the opportunity to visit Xcel Energy’s Monticello or Prairie Island for a site tour on Wednesday, June 21, 2023, from 1 pm - 4 pm. There will be transportation provided to each station and the buses will leave the hotel at noon. These tours are limited in space and it will be on a first come basis, register quickly to secure your spot! You can discover more information on appropriate attire in the site tours tab.

Attendees will have the chance to sit in on sessions that discuss the future of nuclear and ways to think innovatively. Technical sessions including Small Modular Reactors, Fusion, Hydrogen and much more. Additional sessions include ways to advocate for nuclear, revive your local NAYGN chapter, Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion (DE&I), and Speed Networking. There will be an exhibit hall with 30 booths for attendees to walk through between sessions, breaks, and meals. After each day there will be a networking event where members are able to network and meet the board members. On the last day of the conference, there will be an opportunity for attendees to participate in an outreach event.
