What Is NAYGN?

Celebrating 25 Years Energizing the Future of Nuclear

North American Young Generation in Nuclear (NAYGN) is a 501(C)(6) non-profit organization which provides opportunities for a young generation of nuclear enthusiasts to develop leadership and professional skills, create life-long connections, engage and inform the public, and inspire today’s nuclear technology professionals to meet the challenges of the 21st century.

NAYGN was established in 1999, and now consists of 100+ Chapters across North America.

About the Conference

NAYGN is proud to announce our second stand-alone Conference, starting Sunday, June 2nd and concluding Wednesday, June 5th, 2024 in beautiful Charlotte, North Carolina with morning plenary at the Knight Theater and afternoon breakouts at the Mint Museum Uptown. This year’s conference is celebrating 25 years of NAYGN Energizing the Future of Nuclear! This Conference is for young professionals in the nuclear industry that are eager to engage in professional development, soft skills training, technical discussions, and networking with industry executives. 

 

There will be an Exhibit Hall with booths for attendees to walk through in between sessions, breaks, and during meals. After each day of the Conference, there will be a Networking Event.

Policies

Please review our Exhibitor Policies in their entirety. As an Exhibitor, you agree to be legally-bound by all Policies set forth herein. NAYGN reserves the right to add to, modify, update, or amend these Policies, at any time, without further notice.

Payment Method

The following payment methods are listed in order of preference. Please contact Brian Holman at treasurer@naygn.org for an Invoice and indicate your preferred method of payment. Please also provide confirmation when payment has been sent.

  1. Electronic Transfer Payment: NAYGN’s preferred method of payment is through Automated Clearing House (“ACH”) Transfers or Wire Transfers. Please contact Brian Holman at treasurer@naygn.org for banking details.

  2. Check: Please make Checks payable to: North American Young Generation in Nuclear, Inc. If you select this option, a mailing address will be provided on the Invoice that you receive from NAYGN.

  3. Credit Card: Credit Card Payments can be accepted as a convenience option and will be assessed a convenience fee. Credit Card Payments can be made by requesting a credit card link with the Invoice.

Cancellation Policy

Please send a Notice of Cancellation to events@naygn.org. If an Exhibitor cancels at any time, for any reason, the Exhibitor will be still responsible for the total agreement costs. There are no refunds for cancellations of the exhibitor space or any additional tickets.

Terms & Conditions
  1. Exhibitor benefits cannot be fulfilled until this document has been signed and returned to NAYGN and payment has been received.

  2. Indemnification: Each party agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the other party and its employees, members, landlord, successors, and assigns, from any claims, liabilities, losses, damages, and expenses asserted against the other party and arising out of the indemnifying party’s negligence, willful misconduct, and negligent performance of, or failure to perform, any of its duties or obligations under this Agreement. The provisions of this indemnification are solely for the benefit of the parties hereto and not intended to create or grant any rights, contractual or otherwise, to another person or entity.

  3. Endorsements of Product & Services: Partnering with NAYGN does not constitute an endorsement of any product or service.

  4. Trademarks: NAYGN will be held harmless for any trademark, trade name, copyright, or patent infringement on any printed materials belonging to or distributed by any partner.

  5. Space contracted by the Exhibitor may not be sublet without the prior written permission of NAYGN.

  6. The Exhibitor agrees to abide by all regulations and rules adopted by NAYGN in the best interests of the Conference and agrees that NAYGN shall have the final decision in adopting any rule or regulation deemed necessary prior to, during and after the Conference.

  7. Exhibitor will be liable for, and will indemnify and hold harmless NAYGN from, any loss or damages whatsoever suffered by NAYGN as a result of any loss or damages whatsoever occurring to or suffered by any person or company, including without limiting the generality of the foregoing, Exhibitor, other Exhibitors, NAYGN, the owner of the building and their respective agents, servants and employees and members of the public attending the Conference, either on the said space or elsewhere if said loss or damages arose from or were in any way connected with Exhibitor’s occupancy of said space.

  8. NAYGN reserves the right to alter or change the space assigned to the Exhibitor.

  9. NAYGN reserves the right at any time to alter or remove exhibits or any part thereof, including printed materials, product, signs, lights, or sound, and to expel Exhibitors or their personnel if, in NAYGN’s opinion, their conduct or presentation is objectionable to other Conference participants.

  10. Exhibitor agrees to confine their presentation within the contracted space only, and within the maximum height set by the Conference Rules and Regulations and to maintain a staff in their booth space during Conference hours.

  11. NAYGN assumes no responsibility for loss or damage to goods before, during the period of the Conference, nor after its closing.

  12. The Exhibitor is responsible for the placement and cost of insurance related to their participation in the Conference.

  13. The Exhibitor agrees that no display may be dismantled, or goods removed, during the entire run of the Conference and must remain intact until the closing hour of the last day of the Conference. The Exhibitor also agrees to remove their exhibit, equipment, and appurtenances from the Conference building by the final move-out time limit, or in the event of failure to do so, the Exhibitor agrees to pay for such additional costs as they may be incurred.

  14. NAYGN reserves the right at its sole discretion to change the date or dates upon which the Conference is to be held and shall not be liable in damages or otherwise by reason of any such change. In addition, NAYGN shall not be liable in damages or otherwise for failure to carry out the terms of this Agreement in whole or in part where, caused directly or indirectly by, or in consequence of, fire, storm, flood, war, rebellion, insurrection, riot, civil commotion, strike or by any cause whatever beyond the control of NAYGN whether similar or dissimilar from the causes enumerated herein. In the event that the exhibit space to be used by the Exhibitor should in any way be rendered unusable, the Exhibitor shall pay for such space only for the period during which it was or could have been used as determined within the sole discretion of NAYGN. A refund of all monies paid by the Exhibitor to NAYGN will be made by NAYGN in the event that the Conference is not held as proposed by NAYGN.

  15. NAYGN reserves the right to cancel this Contract and to withhold possession of exhibit space if the Exhibitor fails to perform any material condition of this Contract or refuses to abide by the Conference rules and regulations, in which case the Exhibitor shall forfeit as liquidation damages all space rental payments made by them and any further occupancy of such space.

  16. The Exhibitor agrees to observe all Union Contracts and labour relations in force, agreements between NAYGN, official Contractors serving Companies and the building in which the Conference will take place, and according to the labour laws of the jurisdiction in which the building is located.
